about me

Hi, I am Amy Hadden. I am the mother of three sweet little girls.

For the 15 years that I have been a mother,  I have found it hard to make time for the extra little things I want to do. My painting career is on hold and lots of projects have been set aside for me to one day finish.

I decided to make putting notes in my girls’ lunches a priority when I stopped by school at lunchtime when my oldest was in first grade. She had her lunch laid out in front of her neatly and was going through what I had packed for her. It occurred to me that this was an opportunity that I was missing to make her day brighter. To make her laugh, encourage her, tell her something neat or show her a pretty drawing – her lunch was the perfect place. I have made an effort since then to tuck a little note in my girls’ lunches before sending them out into the world.

This year has been busier than ever and the extra time in the morning to create a note is daunting. I had the thought to stock pile some lunch notes, then I decided to share them with other busy parents. I hope you and your children enjoy them.

Hi! Do you have an RSS feed I can subscribe to, or an email list? I don’t always think to check pinterest. Thanks!

    Hello Amy

These ideas are truly inspiring! I love them. Would you mind if I placed a link to your site from my website? I shall soon be doing a post on preparing the children for going back to school and a link for my readers to gather one of your lunch notes would be really useful.
